You can't sleep in your own bed alone at night because you're afraid you'll start halucinating again. And what do you do when you actually get to your bed and you can't fall asleep because you are too worried all the time. My pdoc won't perscribe me any anti anxiety meds. I asked for some ativan. On new years eve I was in the ER because some person knocked on my door and drove off and I couldn't calm down. The police escorted my paranoid ass to the er and they gave me some ativan to help calm my nerves. Which worked. Now, my pdoc won't perscribe me any when I ask....She said it's a red flag when someone asks for a benzo....I didn't even know ativan was a benzodiazapiene (sp?) in the first place. I posted this in the schizo forum instead of the bipolar forum because it's my paranoia that keeps me from sleeping alone in my own bed when my husband is up late working nights....I need some thought out advice. No nagging please.
