Hi, A litttle "insane" today. Woke up at 3:00 in the morning and was in a temper tantrum for hours over a perceived slight by a friend of mine over coffee yesterday...Of course, waking up at 3:00 AM these last few mornings hasn't helped much. My neighbors keep making comments through my wall, which can't really be happening, but there it is, my "reality" and I react to it and live with it...very irritating...hope all are having more stable Mondays !!!

I go more than a little wonky and/or grumpy when I can't maintain a sleep rhythm. "Normal" is more than I expect of my sleep at the best of times, but off-rhythms get me, still. If nobody has done me wrong, I'll make something up just for the target practice.

It sure is nice to have someplace I can admit and vent it...
DS is great for that. Beats picking fights with neighbors.

You're funny ! I think I am also feeling a little isolated as there are 35,000 people living in these 30 or so apartment towers and only about 100 on the streets and pocket parks. Is everyone cowered in their apartments like me??? I have some social plans tomorrow so maybe that will take the edge off. Maybe I hallucinate my neighbors just to feel I have some contact??? that's a theory I"m mulling over..

Hi Max,
I hope you don't mind me asking, but I wonder what has put you in the position that you know that the neighbours are not really commenting through the walls.
I tried to convince my wife for years that this wasn't real ... but no success... I mean she knows now, but at the time no hope of convincing her.

No, I haven't convinced myself out of experiencing them in contact with my brain through the walls....they are babbling on right now..but I just know intellectually that it is not real and theorized it may be due to isolation. Maybe not. Maybe just a delusion I'm stuck with....sorry to give you the wrong impression...today has been a particularly difficult day with my neighbors following my every thought. Does the reality check help your wife?
