So I have experienced great paranoid delusions before, and I believe that paranoia is not necesarily a part of Bipolar, and I asked again if I could be schizoaffective and she said you might be.....she also said I was on meds that treated both bipolar and schizophrenia she never really said I was or not. Now, I get these fears that someone is gonna break into my house and kill me and I know full well that it\'s not the bipolar talking. If it\'s not the bipolar talking then what the fuck is it????

As far as my own illness and my pdocs, the mania and depression is part of the bipolarism and the paranoid delusions/voices/hallucinations are part of the schizophrenia. I have schizoaffective disorder which is described as a mood(affective)disorder, WITH schizphrenic symptoms. You can have paranoia with either. As far as I know it depends a lot on the cycle and when and how long certain symptoms occur. Hope this helps.

As far as that particular paranoid delusion, I have had the exact same one.....over and over and over... there are times when I can\'t get any sleep because of it. Staying up all night checking to see if the doors are locked, looking out the windows, pacing back and forth, hearing noises that drive you crazy. Honey been there done that. Sorry to hear that is one of yours.. That one sucks balls.

To be 100% honest with you I am not entirely sure what I am. If I am not on antipsychotics 100% of the time I hear a nasty horrible voice that says horrific really awful mean things to me (If it wouldn't stop I could of killed myself, seriously it is that bad) It argues with the normal voice in my head. It never stops & is relentless. & it tells me to harm people. Now my old pdoc would mention schizoaffective, but then would go back to bipolar 1, then the SSDI pdoc I am pretty sure went with schizoaffective bipolar type. Now my new pdoc I think is sticking with the Bipolar 1 as far as I know, but keeps me all the time on antipsychotics because of my voice issue. I do not at all have to be manic to hear that voice. If I am late taking my antipsychotics (which rarely happens as I am sooo scared to death of the voice coming again I am really good at taking my meds) Anyways, if I am late - I see dots everywhere and bugs out of the corners of my eyes. All this (the voice and what not) started happening when I was under a lot of stress and then I heard a pop in my head and viola it came and never went away. Luckily I respond well to Seroquel & my extra voice has not visited. If she did I would be so horrified and run straight to the hospital. It really is torture. Now what that is? I have no idea... Is it schizoaffective disorder? I don't really care as long as I always have my meds so I never ever have to deal with that ever again. I have never been so scared of something in my entire life.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
