Schizophrenia Support Group
Schizophrenia is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a mental disorder characterized by impairments in the perception of reality and by significant social dysfunction. Untreated schizophrenia is typically characterized by demonstrating disorganized thinking and experiencing delusions or auditory hallucinations.
I am not sure what paranoid schizophrenia is supposed to feel like. Getting people with the inside information to talk about it has been harder than hard in my strictly personal journey. It is a malady so thoroughly stigmatized that even doctors don't like to talk about why they won't take patients with the dx in my own "progressive" home city.
I had to look up "third eye vision." I am assuming you speak of the Tao third eye rather than the hip hop album. Both are new to me. Got any more insights?
My longest running question within that is, "How do I distinguish those links from my own inner turmoil? When hubs and I are having domestic conflicts, how much is "His multidimensional self is attached to my mind" and how much is my own self obsessing over the conflict? For sure, I feel like the foundation of my world is crumbling when hubs and I are squabbling and saying mean-spirited things to each other.
I still haven't found simple answers. I'll spare you the ranting I still attach to the wonder, but. . .
Thoughts welcome.
