some days, like today is about me coming to terms with my limits.
i have schizophrenia and no matter how hard I try, how good I try to be
that limit - that internal dichotomy of at once functioning like 'others' but having that ailment is in the forefront and is something I have to accept.
it's rough for all of us, I know. I don't know how to write about this logically but I really sense like my mind body relationship is so out of wack. Like I am weak but have the power to be insightful about my experience. Often times though I can only express so much about it. It just is what it is - and I need to keep busy - keep occupied because in the end, I will wallow which isn't good and it's not what I want to do.
Somedays I keep active and fine, other days I have to 'be reminded' it seems that this is what I am dealing with and others may not understand why I may respond differently. I have to come to terms with it again along with dealing with all the regular headaches that everyone has to deal with.
So, If I go to a few places in my neighborhood for coffee and groceries and they give attitude, I wonder is that because I am noticeably different or are they just store clerks with attitude? lol
Ok that made me laugh. Thanks for taking the time to read this and the space to write. Peace, Mark

Sometimes I think I may "look" schizophrenic. I worry that people can automatically tell. That I am different, that I am sick. But I think it is just anxiety. Delusions. Some days are really good, like today. But some are really really bad.

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
