Take deep breathes .... inhale, and breathe in the feeling of calmness and exhale the pain, and rest ...inhale the calmness and exhale the pain, and breathe. Big hugs ---we are all here for you So proud of you---you have been so brave .
everything will be ok --be patient ---

Was hoping to catch update from you.
Don't you worry about those nurses. I'm betting they don't RA or chronic pain.
Your probably home by now.
In the future if your ever in this position again you tell that person
I hurt & can't help it.
Makes me so mad, if I was there I'd have a few words for those nurses & their superior.
Hope you are recovering well. Know you've been on my mind & prayers.

As for your bladder you do need to empty it regularly. If you can't get to the bathroom or a bedside commode ask for a bed pan or female urinal. You should be emptying your bladder every 2-3 hours. It is an emergency if you go 8 hours without emptying your bladder. Drink, drink, and drink so you pee, pee and pee some more.
I hope tomorrow is a better day for you. Just remember that it will be worth it in the long run.
