The knowledge of the handyman
The fortitude to insist that the potato will cure all
The power of belief that says your believing yourself sick
To wish away all the aches, meds and deformities
To ignore, and know it will be gone
To have the sense to eat a proper diet
The willpower to cease faking a disease
and the brains to try positive thinking
Then we all could turn in our polite smiles
And never once again have to hear about honey
I was quite surprised that this would come from an arthritis educator! I haven't gone back to talk to him again.....
"You're too young to have arthritis" - this was actually told to me by my old primary dr, when I went into his office asking for a rheumatoid factor test. I am only 24 years off and am in the severe stages of RA with more than 50 rheumatoid Nodules all over my body.
I tell them they have a different kind of RA, or only the intermittent RA responds to those kinds of treatments. That usually shuts them up. LOL
