I was quite surprised that this would come from an arthritis educator! I haven't gone back to talk to him again.....
"You're too young to have arthritis" - this was actually told to me by my old primary dr, when I went into his office asking for a rheumatoid factor test. I am only 24 years off and am in the severe stages of RA with more than 50 rheumatoid Nodules all over my body.
I tell them they have a different kind of RA, or only the intermittent RA responds to those kinds of treatments. That usually shuts them up. LOL
