I started a new shot yesterday its through a research program because I can't afford any of the infusions. Today I was able to put size 4.5 ring on my left hand (I have small hands and wrists) it was stiff rough to get it past the joint. I think its too early to say if the shot is working ti could be the dose of predisone they gave me yesterday. They gave me predisone and tyenoal (can't spell sorry) two hours before the shot then bendryl an hour before the shot. then a dose of predisone two hours before going home which is 4 hours after the shot I was at the doctors from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Long day but there is only three days of this. So I am hoping this works. At least the doctor appointments and the research drug is free and they pay me to be there. I just really hope this works because I am tired of the pain.
I hope these infusions work for you. It is a long day for you but worthwhile if it helps you. maybe it's a new wonder drug for RA - we can hope, can't we?
