Painful hands - need suggestions on gloves/relief

My hands have really been bothering me when I sleep and also when I wake up. They are stiff, swollen and achy. I feel like I need some kind of glove that keeps my fingers straight during the night. My fingers feel like they automatically curl when I'm sleeping and this is causing problems. Also, is there a glove out there that has a coolant built in? My hands always feel like they are hot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, I'm so sorry you have such a problem. I also had such problems with my fingers, and I understand your pain perfectly. I decided to go to the doctor to do different checks. They recommended I do additional procedures, and he didn't tell me anything about any gloves. I went through some of the pain due to these procedures and various techniques to hold my fingers during sleep. As for gloves, I read on medrux.com that Nitrile gloves are much better than Latex and perfect for any skin type. A lot of people use them, and you can try them.

This is what is known as an "old post." It is good to look at and read through. And many other threads.

But there is no point in adding to a 4 year old post. It always puts me in shock, seeing names of people I know are long gone.

So do read these posts. But, if you want to comment, please start your own post. It really isn't fair talking to people who are no longer here. Or bringing up an old disagreement. We get those from time to time. Or at least when the group was bigger.
