How to find a good rheumatologist / Homeopathic

Hi, I'm new to a RA diagnosis and new to this support group. I've just started Humira, still using Methotrexate and folic acid, and I was wondering if there were any homeopathic treatments for RA and where to find a good rheumatologist in my area (Palm City, FL).

oh man I wish you the best of luck finding a good rhuemy. whatever you do CHECK OUT a ra doc BEFORE YOU GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I live in florida too so if you find one let me know if they are good i might travel to see yours. :)

Larch, Finding a good rhuemy is really hard. Because autoimmune diseases are like puzzle pieces, you need to find a doctor who listens to you, takes advantage of all testing available and is willing to play on your team, feeling comfortable that sometimes you may want to take the lead.

I am one of the lucky ones who wouldn't trade my rhuemy for the world. Unfortunately you will hear horror stories here on DS about the really bad ones! Be patient, be careful and most importantly be prepared! Good luck. marcia
