Who's looking after you, one or more of your regular doctors, or new ones? Not sure which would be preferable. It's good to work with people who know you and your baseline, but I think you could use fresh horses on this one. Can the hospital assemble a mini-Mayo for you, and put the smartest people in a few different fields to work together figuring this out?

The chocolate pudding might be OK, but the banananana is undoubtedly scary.

I'm sooooooo sorry to hear your in the hospital.
So no further a head in getting answers?
Just the thought of laying there playing the waiting game has me checking for hives.
So you better believe my heart goes out to you.
You are so right. People in general over estimate medical science.
So many unknowns.

Looks like I'm late to the party too!

I'm sorry you're in the hospital Sally. Hopefully they'll get stuff figured out. Your symptoms are very similar to mine. The muscle wasting, the calves, the discoloration all of it. My toes go into cramps & splay in all directions more often than I care to think about. When my insurance kicks back in I guess we'll see what the nerve conduction studies say. I hope you get better answers and I've gotten so far.
