Digestive Problems?

Hi Everyone,

I was curious if anyone on here also has digestive problems? I recently had a colonoscopy in which my doctor thought that I may have Chron's Disease. I guess Chrons can cause RA. Anyone else have this similar situation?

Reactive arthritis. I had colitis for three years before diagnosis with RA.

Crohn's disease and RA are both autoimmune diseases, hence there can be a connection. I don't know that Crohn's causes RA, though.

Wow, thanks Triad for all the information! I noticed that Humira is advertised on tv for digestive problems as well as RA, so I figured that there must be some sort of correlation, seeing as both are autoimmune diseases. Humira is way too expensive. I have great insurance through my husband's employer, but I don't know if they would cover that much of it. We will see what my doctor has to say. Thanks so much for the information!

Triad ..hope you see this ..Tami here went to big health store close to our house bought the spice turmeric ..thank you so much ..my husband event thought he doesnt get this entirely thanks you too ..going to give it a try :) I sure hope others dont give up rite away on natural healing if they can at least try it with other ways ....earth heals us a bit just from its wonderfull forces ... just standing on earth with no shoes on makes me feel a little grounded ..so a long with meds ..going to give it all a try ..very leary of herbs though i do know you have to be carefull what you mix with herbs (meds ) ..thank you sooo much Triad

Triad ..one more thing ..i might not be on here everyday ..just have been now becasue i am new and checking it out just to see what everyone says and feels and there experience .I will check your messages you leave for us ..not sure how you know all of this and where you look for info ..but you .in a matter of two days ..ahve helped me more then most dr 's have at explaining ..that 's all i really needed from the get go is some answers ..and not to feel so alone ..this was super hard to take it ..and very very lonely feeling .. who ever you are ..i will keep this in my heart that you helped
