Wilderness Retreat for Survivors

I'm making small gains toward plans for this next year. I have a HUGE opportunity for those who might want to attend; I've been in contacts with a musician's manager to possibly have a special guest spend the weekend with us.

I won't say who it is yet, but it's one of the musicians included in the "Music for Hawks" thread, and a very special mentor to me. And a Grammy winner, too.

This will cost BIG bucks, but I'm willing to pay, even out of pocket if necessary, for this chance. So please continue to give serious consideration about whether you would attend next Spring (April, maybe?), and suggest what you'd like to get from this retreat.

OOpps. I sent my letter inside of something else. I didn't think to put it in it's own envelope. Sorry, but I did do it with a letterhead and I signed it. Will they care that I live outside of Oklahoma?

I was wondering the same thing, I don't just live outside of OK, but outside the country. But I think it will just go to show how important and far reaching this is.

It would be in Oklahoma, and I'm trying to keep costs down to about $200. Which is REALLY cheap for something like this.

I'll write a letter... and ask a friend of mine at school. Do we just send them to your office? I'm really interested. It would be AWESOME to meet the actual people behind the profiles.

I'm not sure that I can actually attend due to travel costs and covering my business in my absence...but I'd love to write a letter to show support for this project! How awesome is this?! It would be uber cool if I could train someone to take over for me for a bit though.....hhhhmmmmm. Not sure, but a letter is the least I can do. Count me in. ; )
