Exam week is 1st week of May and ends on whatever that Friday is...3rd, maybe.
So, it really isn't that big of a deal. I'd judt not prefer to do retreat and then go take 4 exams! My mind frame my be off...but everything is workable.
Seems May is looking the best?! I'm willing to work around things and talk to professors if need be.
If it is going to get really hot in later May, I would prefer April, it was lovely to sit outside and be warm, but not be fried!! But hey! If there is a retreat that is the great thing and it will always clash with something and I will try very hard to be there. Matt, getting us to choose dates is still like herding cats (or yeti!!) I remember there being a lot of discussion last year, without everyone being able to make the date proposed, but I am not sure if, in the end, people could not come that wanted to?I think, in the end, people somehow do make it because it is a priority.
I am sorry to post so many posts on this topic.
Agreed...last year was hard. I chose to leave early as to not miss my daughters first communion. We do have to think of the group as a whole and sacrifice if the retreat is a priority to us. For me my daughters first communion was my priority so I chose that.
Mother's Day is out for me too...I would chose not to attend if it fell on Mothers Day weekend.
