Hello I had my right kidney remove in 2012. I went to the E.R. for stomach pain and after having a contrast dye cat scan of my orgins they discovered a large mass on right kidney. Was shocked when dr came in to tell me this. I was admitted and met with a urologist the next day. It was a large mass, 8in by 8 in by 4in. the urologist said it had been growing for some time to be so large.
I had to have the full kidney removed on October 18th 2012 My urologist said it was contained in the sack and they got all the cancer. I spent a wk in the hospital having every test imaginable to make sure there was no cancer any other place in my body. (thank god for good insurance) It was very stressful under going all those tests but with each test it came back neg of cancer. After being giving a clean bill of health I went home to recoup
Last year had my yearly cat scan and everything was good. Last week I went for this years cat scan and the first sign of trouble was my blood work, it showed my bun/creation was to low. The hospital called my urologist and he said NO CONTRAST!! just regular cat scan of my pelvis, stomach kidney bladder etc .
Got a call hours later from my urologist and he said that a appt. was made for the 18th of this week.to go over the results of the cat scan.
that wasn't a good sign. It means that something showed up now I am left worrying till Thursday and today is only Monday!
hoping for the best but thinking the worst. There was nothing positive about that phone call.
thanks for listening,
barely holding on,
Tracey.

I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
