so it's strange how many stories you hear in the hospital this was just one relating to the subject since I don't remember her name ill call her amber. Amber was talking in the hospital about how she got raped by this jerk which she said but in a lot harsher words that I will not mention. Anyway She got addicted to alcohol after that at the same time she got pregnant now she was against abortion but she did end up aborting the baby because of the fact that she had drank so much alcohol she was afraid that the baby would get fetal alcohol syndrome. After that she was so depressed about her baby they admitted her to a mental hospital where we met and I heard her story. I even made a poem about her which a lot of people told me was really good even though I always felt it was wrong because she was a young mother who did what she had to do and I had wrote about it from the childs perspective and not the mothers who go through this
it was a hard descision for her to make
This was my first pregnancy and it was from rape.
I spent 3 weeks debating on what to do. I cried, I didn't sleep much...I quit my job at the time...I couldnt look in the mirror without crying and feeling sick. NOT because of the child. But because of what this was a result from.
I finally decided to do an abortion. It was the hardest choice of my life.
Before they do it, they have to show you the child via ultrasound. It was so hard to look at it...but I went ahead with it anyways. I remember Enya's "Sail Away" was playing.
Afterward, I almost killed myself drinking.
