ok,,i got off xarelto about 2 weeks ago. Have been doing ok..until about 3 days ago. My job is physically demanding sometimes..so bending..squatting..reaching over for things is common. Im 55..yes..overweight..started back walking for 30min 2 days ago. In the leg i had the dvt..it was sore on the inner thigh one day..i put a heating pad on it..ok the next day. Now..on day two..my upperhamstring was sore..so i put a heating pad on it..almost gone. I constantly worry..got so bad..i called in my refill for the 20mg xarelto i stopped taking after ok from the doctor on my last ultra sound. Im taking 325 mg aspirn..one at night..one in the morning. I wonder if i should start taking the xarelto again until my weight drops off more and my physical activity increases. I dont know if my leg was sore from the work..or im in trouble again. It's on my mind all ..all the time. im going to bed because i have to get up early for work tomorrow..and i want to sleep so i will quit worrying..im freaked out. This group has saved my butt..i hate to ask for help..does anybody have any ideas? Thankyou....

If you're really concerned, you've got to go and get it checked out with your doc. Don't just start retaking an anti-coag without seeing a doc first. Your soreness could be simply the random pains that happen during recovery, but if you think its serious enough to post, you probably owe it to yourself to get checked out.

I called the doctor and got an appt to get a doppler again on my leg..just to clear things up because I worry myself crazy. So fri morning at 9:30 am. Hope evrything is ok..

I got my doppler today. No change. The clot in the superficial vein is still there as expected..doc says my body will just absorb it. Everything else is good! Thank God..I can stop worryinf now..
