Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
I'm not worried about my boss as she is amazingly supportive. I am more worried about me not taking on too much and not being able to say no to people. Whilst I've been off work I haven't put myself in that position but this week I will be and I think I'm going to find it hard to explain or say no especially when everyone is telling me how healthy and well I'm looking.
Hope the new job continues to go well for you.
I know exactly what you mean.. I have a tendancy to work more than I really should, always taking on extra hours, walking to and from work, being on my feet all day and still doing loads after work. I've realised that I can't do anywhere near as much as I used to be able to. I went straight from 3 months off work, to working 37 hour a week in one job, and 4 hours a week in another on a sunday :) I'm giving up the sunday job though, as I've realised after only one week that I really REALLY need two days off a week.
Good luck with your return to work..! Take care of yourself :)
