Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

I've had good days, I've had bad days. Today started out, I thought as one of the good days. I had an appointment with my regular doctor and by the time I got home (more walking than I'm used to) I was wheezing and coughing again. Seems I take great strides forward and then 3 steps backward. I know we've talked about the pains, the shortness of breath, but did anyone else have wheezing only on exertion and that cough coming back. Again I'm only a little over 4 weeks out from this. Funny thing....the pain is not there today. Is this just one of the fun things I will experience? And the pulmonologist was not happy with 1.7. So, I've been upped to 6 mg. and recheck in 10 days. My primary doc said it's not unusual to have a hard time stabilizing you in the beginning. And she recommended what you all did. Consistency in eating. Don't buy out the store just because spinach is on sale.

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
But when you're only four weeks out, it doesn't take much. Everything you describe (wheezing, pain, cough) is pretty much standard.
Hang in there!

Good Luck,

Also, I'm four years out and still have occassional wheezing, particularly when it's cold out, or really humid.
