Probably depends on the chili. More meat, less K. If you've got a veggie mix, might have more. Either way, I'm not sure its worth worrying about. I wouldn't think it would have enough to seriously impact your INR.

(Me personally, I pay almost no attention to what I eat, and tend to have a pretty stable INR.)

So many foods have vitamin k in them and you'd have to break down each ingredient in the chili you ate to really get a sense of what you ingested and how much. I pay little attention to vitamin k values and amounts and same as Toss, my INR for the last few years is pretty stable.

If it was homemade and mostly beef then probably not too much Vit K.
If it was canned----- some of them have more.

All this talk of chili is making me hungry. It's about 15 degrees here and I think I know what I'm having for dinner tonight!

15 is down right balmy in my neck of the woods lately but seriously chili is soooo perfect when it's cold out. I've made a few pots of it over the past month. I have a really good recipe for white chili recipe from a "Cooking Light" cookbook that I make and then there's the standard issue ground beef, kidney beans, canned tomato, etc kind. Love it all especially when it's got a good kick.

@bsmith---- from a restaurant? Then there's no way of computing the Vit K in that chili. It 'probably' won't have enough to worry about unless you pig out on broccoli/spinach the next day.

it was most definitely good chili and it's very cold here too so that's why i got a quart of it. didn't realize i'd eat the whole thing in one sitting...haha

Ha! Can't tell you how any times my intentions go out the window when it comes to eating something really yummy. Somehow a cup of chili doesn't quite cut it.
