Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

Hey Everyone,
I'm about 2 months into recovery from mild PEs. During the first several weeks I would yawn like crazy and I see that has been the trend around here, however, most recently I seem to be having trouble getting a full yawn. It actually feels like my the muscles that cause the yawn in my mouth/throat or wherever they are arent working. Has anyone experienced something similar during recovery?
Outside of the anxiety I constantly have I'm back in the gym and working out, though not quite as hard as I use to yet. I also feel like the myyclonic jerks I had during the first few weeks of recovery are now gone which makes me think my body is healing but in some in some weird way.
Any thoughts?

I think that's all related to anxiety, the hyper awareness and hyper vigilance we pay to what normally is a natural function that happens subconsciously, ie breathing, swallowing, heart rate, pulse, etc.

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
