By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

I'm still having a heckuva time with G.I. issues.
I would love to be able to take a fiber supplement but am hearing conflicting opinions about whether or not it is safe to take fiber supplements with Coumadin.
One doctor told me that I should avoid fiber supplements but I've spoken to a few pharmacist who say it is okay to take as long as you take the fiber many hours apart from when you take Coumadin.
Does anyone have the lowdown on this? Do any of you take fiber supplements while on Coumadin?

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
I take my other meds and any supplements in the morning and then my warfarin at night, just in case one of them should happen to affect absorption. For instance, calcium supplements can interfere with the absorption of medication so I take it at a separate time.
