Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

Hi friends,
Well Monday will be my 6 month clotiversary! I just had my follow up CT last friday for the nodules seen on the CT in February when they diagnosed my bilat PEs. The nodules are partially calcified! So they are nothing more than granulomas from a fungal infection.......no biggie! Yeah!!
Now onto the mind thingy......so they took me off Xarelto too last week because they also noted my clots are totally gone. Another yeah! I still battle fatigue and endurance issues yet feel much improved. But what is wierd is......last night I woke up in the middle of the night with significant SOB......I thought oh no here we go again! I fought against waking up my wife and laid there awake the rest of the night.....it was along 4 hours til her alarm went off....however.....I feel better today so obviously it was a panic attack or anxiety.
So I say the mind is amazing......amazingly wierd because I cant believe in my sleep Id have a panic attack over no longer being on a thinner.......lol I wonder if any of you have had similar anxiety over going off the meds.....
Regards,
John

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
When I did go off warfarin (I'm it now) I was on edge about it but I didn't have panic attacks about it, although I think it's not unusual at all to have them about something like coming off anticoagulants.
Edmie.....can you believe it has been 6 months! Time zooms by!
