Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Not sure where you live but any time it gets really cold out or the heat is blasting and I feel dry, it seems to aggravate my lungs. My PE was over 7 years ago and the weather still affects my lungs, not as bad as it used to but still some what. I'm dealing with that the last two weeks.
Anyway, just saying some of what you are feeling is fairly normal and it does sometimes automatically trigger thoughts of the PE. It's a hard thing to be mindful of PE symptoms but not freak out that everything you feel is a PE. But like I said, that gets easier with time, knowing what's something to be concerned about and something that is benign.
