Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Just thought i'd start another light hearted thread after the one we enjoyed about hobbies a few weeks ago!
So where are you all off to for your summer hols this year?
I'm going to North Uist in the Western Isles/Outer Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland. Lol. you've all probably never even heard of it! We spent 2 weeks on this lovely wee island away from the rat race that is the city of Edinburgh - its great! Walking, Fishing, watching movies, eating sweets, spending quality family time together - ye canny beat it!

I'll demonstrate my ignorance (as a Yankee) of the Isles of Scotland---- was that the island that "Island at War" was supposed to be about?
Not filmed---- I think it was filmed on the Isle of Man but perhaps that isle is in the Hebrides also. (Told you I wasn't knowledgeable about that area!)
Anyway, post some photos here of your trip when you get back, please?

'Island at War'------ still confused. :) It was supposedly about an island that was in the 'Hebrides'.
I'd read that it was filmed on the Isle of Man, NOT in the Hebrides. Still curious.

In the fall we're hoping to go visit Venezuela again, where my husband is from. I can't wait since most of my best friends are there, and I absolutely love the country - it's so beautiful, no matter where you go (well unless you were to stay in the barrios en Caracas - can't call that beautiful unless you see it from a distance by night only-hahaha)!
