Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

I'm going to do some part-time seasonal work that will require me standing for long periods of time. Anyone know if this can create DVT/PE issues? I am on warfarin.
Tips? Advice? Personal anecdotes?

If you had a DVT it may cause some leg swelling and heaviness. I can't remember how long ago your PE was but it wasn't that long ago, you may experience some fatigue just because working in general can be tiring. But otherwise, I don't think you're in danger of anything.

My DVT was in August and by the beginning of September was clearing up. My last D-Dimer a couple of weeks ago was negative, so no more clots.
