By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

Shortness of breath

Just need to whine a little. I am so frustrated with the shortness of breath that keeps coming back. I mean if my oxygen saturation were dropping I would at least understand and feel like I had an idea of what to do with it. But my O2 sats are fine yet I feel like I'm not getting enough air. So frustrating.

Just asks about the details of the SOB and such. I am still a medical mystery for now.

Are you concerned about the cause being another PE?

Nope not really. I never really had these symptoms from my previous PEs so tbh it doesn't really worry me. Maybe foolishly. My INR is super high right now anyway so if it is one I'm already getting treated.

No I don't think foolishly. When I was on warfarin, I totally relied on the same thought process. If it were another clot, I'm already getting treated. I had to do that, just to not be in a panic all the time.

Sorry you're having some troubles and hope the figure it out. Hard to know what's what, is it lungs, is it heart, etc. I do wonder though if you've been checked for anemia? When I'm anemic, usually around my period, but I have problems with anemia generally, I feel short of breath. Just a thought.

Yep am on iron and B12 for that already. You are not wrong. :)

    We all have 24 hours in a day.  How we spend these hours is important.  Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do.  Gonna have to work on that.Your turn.  Tell me another truth.
