By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

after a few weeks of really feeling like i was coming back i feel like garbage today. tired, short of breath, weak, and constricted.

this is depressing, i thought i was finally past this.

I totally understand the being set back. Sometimes I will have a sharp pain in my chest and I would have to take pain killers to make it bearable while the day before was totally fine. It is definitely frustrating but you'll begin to see a difference with how you feel and how much you can walk/exercise. Before for me just walking for 45 minutes on the treadmill would make my chest achy the next day. Now I can go for an hour and I feel fine.

So be patient and just remember it's just one of those days that your body is telling you to slow down for that day. If you look at it in that sense, it really doesn't bring you down as much. =)
