By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

Hello everybody,


If anybody reads my posts or comments, you probably know that I have been having issues with awful side effects from these new anticuagulants. Xarelto, Eliquis, and Pradaxa all gave me terrible, unlivable side effects. About a month ago, I tried the fourth one, Savaysa (Edoxaban) and it seems to agree with me pretty well. I haven't had any of the side effects. I only mention this because many people haven't heard of it (it's not as popular as the others) and it might be an option for those of us who have been having the same issues as I have been going through. Just some information for the group. Stay strong everybody!  -Tyler

Could you shar3 what your side effects are and were.

Xarelto was tiredness, fatigue, and head in the clouds feeling. Eliquis was body aches and pains and fatigue. Pradaxa was GI issues like stomach ache and heartburn. Finally with Savaysa I don't have any of those, or if I do, it's minor, where as it was impossible to live with the others.

Thanks. Lots of issues with cummodin for me. Plus those food restrictions. Pardaxa I can eat what I want but I am having blood in my urine.
