By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Has anyone been pregnant and put on Levenox after being cleared of a PE? I had a double PE back in october and was treated with xarelto and after CT scans, ultra sounds and other testing i was clear of a PE! Which is great but now i am pregnant and just as a caution want me to be on levenox so i dont clot again.....
has anyone else been on this medication?

According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Lovenox is a safe and effective treatment for both the prevention and treatment of venous thromboembolism (blood clots) in pregnancy."
I would do your own research but it seems like you would be OK.

Lovenox is a really common anticoagulant. You get used to the injections, so after a while it will just become very routine.
