I am sorry that you feel like you arent getting the replies you need here .I will go look and see if I missed your post .
I browse through here and if I dont feel like I can give a good answer and that someone more knowledgable will be by shortly I take a pass .

I usually read the DISCUSSION board so that is why I did not see your other posts .

Sorry ..one more thing..I posted about my dog and new puppy here because it is an important part of my being able to see myself in the future .I have something to warm and fuzzy that needs me therefore it gives me hope that I will still be here .I am not good at explaining myself but I thought it would be o.k..
Please dont go away because of me .There are wonderfull knowledgable members here that can and will be of great help to you .

Thank you for your replys. I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong. I am very sorry to hear about your dog, as I am a dog owner myselt and I do feel for you. Do you recommend comments on discussion, recommendations, or the advice board? By the way your new puppy is cute!

Honestly...I forget that the Advice board exists at times .I know that I myself usually check in on the Discussion at least once a day to see if there is anyone needing a welcome or check repiles .

When I found this board I was desperate for answers and to just be somewhere with people that felt as I do and that knew what I was going through .

When you are in the PE club you can feel isolated and alone even if surrounded by friends and family .

Sorry you have felt like no one was responding.

I think if you post something on the Advice board, it will show up in the Discussion board when it's first posted but then drops off unless someone responds.

Montereysunset, I post off topic things too once in a while. It's a nice diversion and you start to feel a connection with some people on these sites so you want to share non PE stuff. I totally get it. And as a dog lover, well, I get that too. I lost my dog about three years ago and I still hurt from it. He was only 5 and came down with this freakish illness that couldn't be diagnosed or treated. One day he was here and things were great and 24 hours later, he was gone. I handled my own nearly dying from a PE much better than I handled the death of my dog!

I know how alone it can feel. I hate to have to welcome you here. We are a quite welcoming bunch. Sorry we didn't make you feel that way. I think the board is just confusing sometimes. Please know that we care and support one another. We didn't mean to overlook you!!

I just wanted to say that in general I don't get a lot of replies to journal posts. People only get alerts to a journal post if they have requested to be your "friend". Even then, it would be a lot to read thejournals of everyone every day. I think it is best to post a "discussion" if you want replies and a journal if you need to get something off your chest...

Sorry about your post being missed. Welcome to the club, not really no wants to join this club. But we are survivours and a great group of people that will will find will love and help you through anything. I really don't respond to often to posts as many times I'm not sure that my information will be useful but I read the discussion board nearly every day.A lot of good information is shared on this board.
Again welcome and if I can help with anything just holler.

I only found your post through your name :o) I didn't realise there was anadvice board :blushes: I tend to only read the discussion board.
Your puppy is adorable Monterey, I would be absolutely lost without my furries and they play a huge part in my recovery.
