Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

i just ate a scrumptious meal of thai noodles and curry w brown rice. lots of healthy veggies (my INR is at 3.1, a bit high for me, so even my coumadin clinic encouraged me to eat green until my next test on thursday). and i ordered it the way i always have - screaming spicy, i can handle whatever you dish up for me.
but...now i'm remembering that at my first coumadin clinic, i was warned not to apply ben gay (i think that has capcaisin in it - and isn't that a derivative of chili peppers?) bc of potential interaction w warfarin. so...if you can't have the spicy stuff on the outside, are you not supposed to have it on the inside either? i looked on the list of potential interactions i was given by the clinic, but no mention of spicy foods. i would *think* spicy food might increase your risk of bleeding (bad timing w a high INR). i decided to follow up my meal w a glass of milk just in case.
any other fire eaters out there that can give some advice? thanks!

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
I think you're OK on this one.
