Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

Yahoo - the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is appointing an investigator to my complaint against the GP who failed to diagnose my pulmonary embolism in March that almost killed me. This means they feel there is enough in the complaint to bother investigating officially at least! I really thought his 4page letter of lies and mistruths refuting details in my original complaint would be enough butt covering to cover his arse - but apparently not:)
