Ferr, I crack my head good so often- kitchen cabinets, garage door, getting in the car (getting out of the car). I just got a good one from hitting the bathroom sink after getting off my hands and knees from washing the floor. It has made me realize that I am the only person doing any actual work in my house. So, I think once I get my husband to clean toilets, put dishes away, etc, the head banging will cease.

The only time I was slightly worried was when I hit it on the corner of a cabinet door and it really hurt to touch my head. My husband looked at my skull and said he thought it was bruised, so I'm sure that's why it hurt. But otherwise, unless I've got a screaming headache, I don't get too overally concerned.

Well I had bad toothache at the weekend (an infection under a crown!) so decided to take a couple of painkillers and pamper myself with a little lie down in bed. Walking round the edge of the bed I somehow managed to get my toe stuck in the corner of the duvet and fell head first into the wardrobe!!
So - with a bruised toe and a lump on my head at least it made me forget about the toothache for a while! Seriously though I think it was the first time I've really bumped my head in my 2 years on warfarin. Thankully I don't seem to have done any damage but I'm still taking antibiotics for my toothache!!!

LOL I come to the conclusion that we instantly turn into Klutz's when we take Coumadin.

i know what you mean Ferr. I was walking down the stairs and BAM, next thing i'm falling down them, scrapped some skin, but thats about it. Although it hurt alot longer than i would normally think.

I am relieved to read these posts. In 3 months I've only had one big bruise from a table corner, but quite worry about a possible life on warfarin and how I will inevitably bump my head. Good to read that it will really need to be quite a knock to be a problem.
