I'm so sorry to hear you're at the hospital, but I'm glad you're getting checked out, for peace of mind if nothing else. I hope and pray all goes well and you're home soon.

Ahh the good ole ER. Thank goodness we have them. Never thought to bring the lap top as our ER has TV's in each room. We don't really know of one another because I am fairly new to this but I was just in the ER on Friday for a feeling something was wrong. You know this is the best place for you right now. Your friend may have dragged you there if you had not gone. Hopefully everything will be okay but unforunately we should never play the wait and see - and I am as guilty as the next person. Feel better and surf the net while waiting.

I hope everything turn out to be negative, I'm glad your friend yelled at you, that is the sign of a good friend.

Hi there Beecute! I'm glad that you were persuaded to have yourself checked out when things didn't feel right. Take good care of yourself because don't forget that you're very precious.

it's good to have people who *understand* nearby on the internet.
i just put on the dreaded gown (but get to keep on my yoga pants! yippee for that!).
i'm awaiting the CT scan with contrast.

i have such mixed emotions, guys.

i mean if this all turns out to be nothing, i will feel like i over-reacted.

yet...i really hope it all turns out to be nothing.

i already called in sick to work tomorrow and i hate to do that.
i'm the super responsible person...but i know i will be exhausted after being here possibly until late into the night, even if they don't admit me.

Aw, gosh, since the PE in Sept 2007, I've been back to the ER at least 6 times thinking I had another PE. I totally get how you feel. You've had two PEs. So, you know first hand that this is nothing to mess around with.

Remember, if it was one of us, you'd tell us to go to the ER, so you gotta listen to your own advice.

At least you get to wear pants. I alway had to strip down to my undies. One time a co-worker, a fellow PE survivor ironically enough, brought me to the ER during a work day. How thrilled was I that she got to see me in my worst old lady underwear. Women dress for other women, it is true.

GREAT NEWS! My CT scan was clear!!!
Yippee! My INR was 2.4 last week so I would have been super freaked.
The PE from Dec. is gone and there's no new one.
Yippee! (again)

They are still keeping me over night to test my cardiac enzymes and do a cardio stress test/echo in the morning.

My theory is that the pain is muscular. It is just plain sore where the PE was.
