Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

Espon Salts Bath?

Does anybody here know if it is safe to use espon salts in a warm bath while on warfarin? I have a really bad back (broken twice) and would love to take a soak as my chiropractor can't adjust me ... broke 6 ribs 8 months ago... not my year! I tried to google this, but can't find anything and the clinic is closed today... thanks, Donna

It's fine, I'm sure. But you can always call on a pharmacist at your local drug store and ask. They're a really good resource for both prescription and over the counter interactions with warfarin.

I used epson salts on my feet a few months back and it was my doc who said to do it. Wouldn't worry too much.

Like RMB said, if you're really concerned check with a 24-hour pharmacy.

Epson salts has magnisum in it and it does asorb into the body
through the skin. Most people are magnisum deficent and it can help relax muscles and bones.
I learned this on the afib site...

    We all have 24 hours in a day.  How we spend these hours is important.  Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do.  Gonna have to work on that.Your turn.  Tell me another truth.
