Hello ☺️ Dry cough

Hello all, 


I'm new and so grateful for this group. I've been reading through a lot of post and I feel relieved that most of my symptoms others have already experience. I was diagnosed with PE on Nov 6th, 9 days after having a hysterectomy. I was admitted into the hospital for 3 days and then sent home to start taking Eliquis twice a day. I now understand the SOB is normal, but is it common to also randomly have a dry cough? Some days I don't cough at all and some days a cough a lot, like today. I'm not coughing up anything it's just a dry cough. Has anyone experienced the dry cough after starting the medication.

I think that’s fairly common during recovery. Your lungs may be irritated or sensitive. Not sure it has anything to do with the medication. Check with your doc if concerned though.

Thanks for replying. I feel like now after all of this everything has me on alert. I do have an appointment this week with the doctor.

Yes. I had a dry cough with palpitations. It was weird because it felt like my heartbeat would kind of get hung up then my body would cough to restart it!

I too have a dry cough, my bilateral PE was diagnosed 9 months ago, I've had the dry cough on and off since then, also chest tightness and a fluttery feeling when I inhale deeply. I finished my course of Xarelto after 6 months but cough didn't stop after ending them so it wasn't related in my case.

    The last few days a lot of my emails are goingdirectly in the trash folder.  This is weird!!My husband is also having the same problem.He has A O L and I have Yahoo which makes iteven weirder. Can anyone explain why a messagewould bypass the In box and go directly in to Trash?

    My husband Gareth yesterday said that he was looking for a one bedroom flat.  SO I SAID to him dont you love me anymore and then he said no>  a little later he slipped in the shower and we had to go up and rescue him all he has done  is hurt his ankleandi toes.  A later on he gave me a  hug and said he did love  me.  I dont know what to do or  what to think.  I know he is texting another...
