Hello all,
I'm new and so grateful for this group. I've been reading through a lot of post and I feel relieved that most of my symptoms others have already experience. I was diagnosed with PE on Nov 6th, 9 days after having a hysterectomy. I was admitted into the hospital for 3 days and then sent home to start taking Eliquis twice a day. I now understand the SOB is normal, but is it common to also randomly have a dry cough? Some days I don't cough at all and some days a cough a lot, like today. I'm not coughing up anything it's just a dry cough. Has anyone experienced the dry cough after starting the medication.

I too have a dry cough, my bilateral PE was diagnosed 9 months ago, I've had the dry cough on and off since then, also chest tightness and a fluttery feeling when I inhale deeply. I finished my course of Xarelto after 6 months but cough didn't stop after ending them so it wasn't related in my case.
