Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Is your pulse ox in normal range?
I still cant lay on my side (either) without significant issues
I am just curious what others' experiences are AFTER months of elapsed time.
I would not assume your pulse ox is low. Lot of people have these same symptoms with a completely normal pulse ox. My thought was to ask your doc to check your pulse ox just to rule out an issue with breathing.
I think how your describing it makes sense so is it an issue that your docs don't get what you mean or is it that they just don't know what to tell you?
