By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
I'll also note that it is possible to react differently than expected. I've definitely taken meds where everyone expected my INR to go up and it went down (or vice versa). Constant Vigilence! is about the only way to go...
Yes, I have looked at rxlist etc and it will change my INR. Just wondered what personal stories might be told about it.
