I was diagnosed with a PE in late 2016, went on blood thinners until June of 2017 (with awful joint pain side effects), and since then I've still been in pain. The clots were gone by January of 2017, however one year later I have still not recovered. My sternum hurts bad, it hurts to the touch (right in the center of my sternum, chest) and my back hurts near my spine straight across from my sternum. My upper body generally aches, almost like it's spreading from those areas. Doctors are puzzled and aren't sure what to do. Has anybody else had complications long after their PE? Any idea what could be going on? I was a very healthy, active man until all of this happened, now I can't seem to get better. The pain is constant, never goes away, and is maddening.
I have had multiple injuries to my knees and ankles but at the age of 38 am starting to feel the effects of them. I have throbbing pain periodically throughout the day. When I wake up in the morning its pens and needles when I start moving. Anyone have natural remedies that would help to ease the pain?
Im not certain how long it’s been since my last go round with the old comrade diverticulitis but “ it’s back.” Taking some pills meant for a horse for ten days and some anti nausea meds as well as something for pain.
