Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Make sure to stay hydrated. That'll help with the cold and with avoiding new clots. Also, if you're laying around a lot, keep your legs elevated.
I don't want to just dismiss it as that, but if everything looks otherwise normal, then that seems the most logical response. Otherwise, to really know, you'd have to have a CT scan. So that's the alternative.
Anxiety is a real bear and can really affect your physically. It may help to start practicing relaxation techniques, meditation, etc to regroup. These things really helped me sort out what was caused by anxiety because once I was able to work through it, a lot of the symptoms went away.
I hope you start to feel better soon.
I know it's just anxiety, but it still gets me. I may have a heart artery spasm though, or not.
