Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

It's been 3 months since my PE, and I am about a week into a cold which is now all in my chest. I was a little surprised that all of my coughing wasn't making my lungs hurt. However, today, I'm feeling pain in my left lung.
I'm due for an INR check on Tuesday, and I think I'll ask to see the Nurse practitioner when I go in to see if I need to be treating my cough. I could go to urgent care this weekend, but considering I feel pretty good except for the coughing and slight pain in my lungs, I don't know if it's worth rushing the visit.
In the mean time, I'm curious if anyone has seen a change in their INR when fighting off a cold (not from antibiotics).

I passed her in front of her classroom the other day and didn't even look at her. I am...

Just had an interesting conversation with ChatGPT! It was kind of like talking kindly to myself. You should get the App. It's free.
Hope you feel better.
My cold on it's own had no impact on my INR. I generally stay between 2.8 and 3.2. My INR yesterday was 2.9.
Thanks!
