By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Still new to PE and trying to understand. When I went to the ER with an uncontrollable blood nose they ran blood work. My platelets were high (402) and my red blood cells were high (5.19). At the time I was about 4 hours after my lovenox shot. Would that mean it's working or it's not working? (I'm sorry for the silly question. Just so much to try and understand)

Bleeding risks are associated with any anticoagulant. Your Lovenox is working, not because your bleeding but because it's a very effective anticoagulant that rarely fails. I'd be more concerned about keeping the bleeding controlled.

I was taught how to pack my nose if it occurs again and I have an spot with the ENT doctor. I think the weather is just messing with my breathing and that turns my anxiety up.

Having the AC running, plus taking allergy meds sometimes gives me a bloody nose. And yeah, humid weather is hard after a PE. Hang in there!
