Yep, I do that too. For me, I really don't think it's so much out of the blue, as just an accumulation of anxiety/depression, stress , and exhaustion that finally get to a breaking point. I am having less frequent crying spells now, almost 10 months out, but I had a nice big melt-down yesterday for no apparent reason other than I'm frustrated and sick of feeling lousy. I can't blame the warfarin, since after I stopped the warfarin I was so worried about getting another clot, I was having daily crying episodes for a while!

Yeah, I agree. It's the stress, tension, anxiety, etc, plus the fatigue. It's not the warfarin. You've suffered a major trauma and it can really do a number on your emotions. Take it eay, try to relax, rest, go for a walk, anything to just shake some of the tension.

Yep, been experience since 3rd or 4th week after my PE, when it finally sunk it just how sick I've and how much of a close call I've had.

I don't think it's the warfarin, as much as the trauma of going through a PE.

It's not the medication, its is definitely the emotional aspects of having a PE.

I totally agree with you all. Just last night I was very emotional for no particular reason. I was watching something on TV with a sad story but I don't normally get weepy like this. I have just got a new job within the same company I work for and I think its all to do with stress. Then there is the worry of another clot. I am about 5 weeks off now. Have had several worrying moments and today my leg was achy and I keep thinking about another clot. I think we all need a good cry every now and then and then we get on with things hey.

Oh hell, I do this now and it has nothing to do with the PE. A good cry is the best release for sure. Recently, I was in the shower, and suddenly I started crying. I don't think we realize how much tension we carry around with us everyday that we really don't acknowledge or deal with.

Yes, what a shock for me to have clots, I never thought it would
happen to me. My Dr told me 2 years ago I should take warfarin.
I have afib but only 3 times last year and thought I was safe.

My mind works overtime sometimes about what is gonna'
happen next. I still cry sometimes.
