Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

I found out this week that my company offers a month unpaid sick leave for every year of service. So, the next two weeks will not affect my job. Which is a big relief. The only problem is not getting paid....but I will work it out. Seems when you are not stressing, things have a way of working out. I'd given up worrying about it and was just focusing on getting better. And planning activities and thinks I need to do each day to get things a little more "normal". I'm taking my "little" walks and beginning to feel some better. I do plan on going back to work on January 8th and I have 32 hours a month I can use if things get to be too much. Again, unpaid, but if I need a few hours here and there, I've got them. And perhaps even plan some vacation time in the next month or 2. I made it back when I was diagnosed with a heart condition in 2008, and I can do it this time. And as a result of the medical stuff and the PEs, things are changing or will continue to change in my life. I have a new appreciation for my life. And....I am NUMBER ONE!!!!

That IS good news. You don't need the added stress of worrying about your job situation. Hoping you can plan a vacation. I'd love one of those too!!!

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
