Hi All old and new. I have missed you all. Been away dealing with my daughter who has been suffering with a severe eating disorder. That's another story but wanted to say it's almost 3 years since my husband had his su massive bi lateral pulmonary embolisms and cardiac arrest. I can honestly offer hope to anyone and everyone that has suffered this life changing event. I can honestly say that I feel he has come full circle at last. It took an enormous amount of time and energy and loads of heartache, disappointment, fear and anxiety. He suffered through a major depressive episode after 2 years and that was an enormous challenge. He had the site of the DVT stripped from his right leg. There were other various issues, lost confidence at work, job changes and instability, but I want my message to be one of hope to the families too. You will get through everything you are experiencing. You will come out stronger as a person and as a family unit. The things that used to seem important will seem unimportant. And you will never take anything or anyone for granted again. Chin up and hang in to anyone who is just embarking on this journey. It's a long winding road but it leads to a beautiful place. It leads to life, a new and better life with more meaning. I have missed keeping up with you all but you are all in my thoughts and keep going!!! You will get where you want to be and you will be a better version of who you were.
