Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Call your doc if you're concerned though. I mean., while we can commiserate on our experiences, none of us can say for sure what's causing it. We just know it's completely normal to have some degree of weird sensations after a PE.
I too, the past several days, have had a burning sensation deep in my left lung......burning and almost feels congested though I do not cough anything......
It started last Saturday after being outside most of the day and so I think what RMB says makes total sense about the pollen. I am 3 months out from my PE and was doing fairly well.....If you go to the Dr please let us know what Dr says...
Thanks!
John
I wish you well!
