Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

Hi All, Just communicating. Its not a very good day. My husband woke with a really bad headache. He then had a very good interview which is the good part of the day. Fingers crossed. Then he got home and started complaining about a very very bad back ache in the lower right side. He has never had any back problems. I know this sounds like nothing, and hopefully it is nothing but for him to get dressed quickly and rush to the emergency room has really scared me. He is with my son this time. I thought I would faint from the overload of adrenaline and stress. I am glad he is with my son. Anyway I hope it is not something serious but everything seems serious when you have been through what he has been through. He has just started taking amidarone for A fib so I don't know if that is a side effect, Ok guys any advice? I just want to start crying.... Not very helpful, huh? I cannot bear to see him suffer.

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
Back and disc problems are very common~~I read statistics that said about 65% of people over the age of 35 have disc issues. Most people don't even realize it, because our bodies miraculously acclimate to the change of discs that are "bulging" or otherwise out of line, but are not causing pressure on any nerves. So maybe this is something that was there for a while, and maybe a muscle strain caused the pain and the need for an xray~~which then revealed a disc problem. So it may not have even been a present injury~~maybe it happened long ago, but the pain happened now from a muscle strain or the disc pressing on a nerve.
In any case, I am very happy it's not life threatening. You have all been through so much, my heart goes out to you. Hopefully your GP will have good news for you. P,ease keep us posted.
Blessings and peace to you all!
