OK, sorry I didn't make time to read all the replies but I must say what I assume everyone else already said and that is your doc is a quack! 30 is very high. Seek alternate opinions and help however you can ASAP.

I still don't have a dx, but Mc2010 and meweird encouraged me just a few days ago to be my own advocate. The NO told me to come back in 6 weeks, which with the pain was not happening. Because of the encouragement and support found here I headed back to the hospital and refused to leave untiI found a dr to listen. I got bounced around to multiple floors and different departments, and spent a few hours but was able to get a dr to take a few minutes out of his schedule to listen to me without an appt. He explained he needed to do a full exam but had scheduled appt already that day and was only in that clinic once a week but was willing to schedule me the following week.

As I currently lay in a hospital bed after two days, still with no definitive answers I just want to encourage you to think about your pain for two seconds and now think about transferring that to being a pain to them. Start bugging them for answers. A young dr just told me a few hours ago when I was stressing and wanted answers that most patients don't ask questions and don't seem to care (to be informed). Be a pain to them, like I was encouraged to do.

I am in indiana I have socialized healthcare through the city. I am not in pain its just light in my eyes just waiting to go to a regular dr hopefully in the next 2 weeks
