My soon to be ex spouse has had about a 7 year addiction to hydrocodone pills with muscle relaxers that she was claiming back pain to get. I use the word claiming because she never once told me that she was going to the doctor, never complained of her back, and the pills were completely hidden from me, and she has since told me that she started it because she liked the high. She mixed those two with tuscenex scripted cough medicine, xanax, other anti depressents and alcohol. She recently went to rehab for all of this, which was actually due to a relapse that went full blown again (behind my back mostly).
The question I have is about Tramadol and Nucynta pain killers. The week she and I split up she had taken a Month supply of Tramadol in about a week, and since then has started taking Nucynta that I am sure she is also abusing. Will abusing these pills give you a high? Since they are slightly different (man made) will they show up on a urine drug screen? Any help or insight from anyone here is greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Thank you for the reply, I am attending AL-Anon, and am also reading several books in that area. I am also a member of several of the DS support groups that you mentioned. I am not trying to make waves in a forum that I really don't belong as a member, but I am going through a divorce, my soon to be ex is an addict to pain pills, and I know for a fact she is getting the Tramadol and Nucynta and I know she was abusing the Tramadol and is most likely abusing the Nucynta. I was merely looking for insight from someone that may have experience from taking and possibly abusing these drugs as to how they affect you so that if needed I can bring the information up in the looming custody battle for my two young children. I do not intend to judge anyone for anything here, and do not want to offend anyone. Thanks in advance for any insight that any of you could provide, God bless.
Good Luck!
